To have all those eyes on her when she entered the main hall, though her excitement to see what Discord would look like when he saw her got her through her nerves. She took in a deep breath as she heard someone coming down the hall.
"Sugar Cube, ya ready?" Applejack asked gently as she came up to her friend. Fluttershy glanced out the windows as the time of Twilight began. It was the one thing Discord wanted out this wedding. To marry at Twilight when it was mixture of Day and Night. Discord always called it the most chaotic part of the day. She took in one last breath and nodded.
"Yes. I'm ready." And with that she walked forward to her future. ""

I cannot tell you how long this took me. To get what I saw in my head to look right took so much work. But I really love it. This is def my second favorite pic now. I know it's not the Bride of Discord dress but this is what I always thought Flutter's wedding dress would look like. Or at least a version of it. I always wanted to do a peacock feather wedding dress for her because when Discord wore her peacock feathers in s7e12 I squealed soo hard. It solidified the relationship for me.
I just feel it showed us how that night meant to him. That Fluttershy taught him a lesson but also cared about him so much.
So when I see a wedding dress for them I see peacock feathers.
If you wanna know the "something borrowed and etc" bits well here we go. The Borrowed is the shoes. There are Twilight's coronation shoes just colored by magic so that they match the dress. Something Old is the Peacock feathers because they were the same peacock feathers from her other dress, again colored by magic so that they matched the color scheme. Something New is her Blue Bell hair accessory that Discord gave here as a proposal gift. Then Something Blue is obliviously the dress.
When I saw FlutterHolly's hair bun OHMYGAWD I friggin fell in love with it that's why I had to use it! It is the seriously cutest hairstyle and I can just imagine Discord snapping his fingers on the night of the honeymoon and her hair just fall down in a river of sakura pink.
Also why there is no Veil is because no matter what I tried I couldn't get it too look right with the hair or the dress. I really tried my darnest to find one that matched what I was thinking and would look good but after all the work I put into the dress nothing looked good. I didn't want to take away from the dress after all that so I'm saying they are skipping a veil.
