I saw a skunk coming home from work tonight. It was so cute, just like this one. Nice shot too!

He is adorable... How did mama skunk not spray you for coming near her baby?

Mama was no where to be found. He lasted about a week. Flower is with us no longer. Bummed out but glad he didn't stick around to spray me.

Oh. By no longer with us do you mean he died? Poor baby. He was an orphan.

Dude... why the hell didn't you stomp on it?! It's going to grow up to spray my dog again and then I'll have to stay up all night to scare it off with a pellet gun!

don't worry. It died. Mama ran off and left him, so mother nature took over. Bummer, but Hell, I didn't want him to grow up and spray me while I'm on the job!

Y'know, you get them de-glanded and they make good pets... If you like them digging at your carpet and chewing on furniture legs and living on bugs and compost.

Honest Mum! He followed me home from school! Can I keep him?

No, we went to lave work and there was a family of little buggers crawling around. This one was particularly curious of my camera. Now, we are all wishing they'd go away (before they get big and learn to spray).

Look, even adult skunks aren't spray-happy. In fact, it's a last resort. Do some research before you bash these cuties.

he's (I'm assuming its a 'he' just a baby and as such, he can't spray. But I'm hoping the boss gets rid of him and the rest of the family (there's 5 babies, with Mom no where to be found) before they get settled in.

Hey, I learned something new about skunks today. A skunk family doesn't sound like much fun. : /
