A friend posed nude for me. Completely done by hands and pencil with some darkening on photoshop (the damn scanner pranked me).I'm just an amateur with no real art training but I'm asking for critiques anyway.

I love the way you shaded this; how half her face is completely black and then the other half is mostly black and yet the image still comes across.

I'm usually not so into traditional art, but I like this, especially the fact that you left half of her face in the darkness. It gives the image something mysterious.

Dramatic, with good contrasts and movement. The head might be a trifle narrow, and the neck a bit long and narrow, unless she's like that.
