This started out as a sketch and then i thought what the hell, i'll make this into something.
So I was rewatching Sworn to the Sword (for like the 7 billionth time XD) and something hit me. It was when Connie was chasing away the seagulls. she swung her bow around like a sword and shouted "Run back to you master! Tell them we're not afraid of you're kind!" And I thought for a second, and then I totally started freaking out.

What if, that line, was foreshadowing. What if Connie, at some point, is going to say that exact thing to a gem! Since she is amazing at fighting now, she might start accompanying the crystal gems on their missions. I totally started to imagine that Peridot would still be inspecting the cluster while on earth, and if the gems found her again, they'd surely attack her.

So in this pic, Peridot is using the active clusters to occupy the gems while she tries to escape. However, this kinda backfires because Connie advances and takes Peridot head on. And of course Peridot can't match Connie's sword skills, so she finds herself backed up against the stone wall of the Kindergarten, battered and chipped a bit. Connie's sword is inches from her face. She says the line with a cold dark voice and an icy glare. Then Peridot Pericopters away in retreat.

Not sure if this has been thought of before, but if it has, I agree!
