Is it weird that I actually really like this design? He looks amazing and fabulous and I bet he's unbelievably badass when in battle. XD

he's a little more of a lover than a fighter but the fancy sword and the butterflies aren't just for show~ c: i'm glad you like his purple disaster design though ♥

This file officially took its place in my desktop slideshow as #30,000!  A major personal milestone for an old Bullfrog wizard like me who has been scavenging fantasy art from all over the web for over 20 years now.  I thank DanielleIvanova  for introducing your art to me. Cool stuff!

He feels pretty, oh so pretty. He feels pretty and witty........ and zaps me into a shrubbery before I can finish that little ditty. XD

Yes, yes.  Yes it is! XD (pats himself on the back with his shrubby leafed fingers)

Some of the old pictures that have been in there for ages, and hold high positions of honor amongst their fellows kind of looked down their noses at the upstart who dared to usurp such a throne of high regard with clear and utter disdain.  Frank Frazetta's "Kane -Dark Crusade cover" glared at him murderously.  Keith Parkinson's "The Lost Prince" just stared dumbstruck.  Gerald Brom's "Diablo 3 - Demon Hunter" took careful aim.  All manner of Kvothes, and Elrics, and Drizzts, and Conans, and Gandalfs, a thousand other fabled characters and monsters beyond counting all shook their heads in wonderment, while dragons of every color of the rainbow gnashed their toothy jaws in disbelief.

Yes number 30K certainly knows how to make a dramatic and flowery entrance, as he pirouetted in midair with the grace of a prima ballerina, held aloft amidst a cloud of butterflies, with a serene and supremely self-satisfied grin flickering across his flawless sardonic lips.  Yes, he might not have been as powerful a wizard as Elminster or Sauruman. nor as deadly a blade master as Rand al'Thor, or as cunning a fae as Morrigan herself, or as wily a trickster as Loki, but he certainly knew what he was, and what he would forever remain; the king of 30,000, as secure in his unshakable throne as Odin himself in his lofty domain.

So on that day a legend was born; the legend of a nameless warlock with a wit as keen as his blade, who had somehow bested the lot of them and when they had all climbed through the bloody tumult to the top of the peak to claim the throne and the immortal prize, they found him already seated, the crown glittering on his dusky brow, and laughing them all to scorn, leaving them aghast and reeling in their collective disbelief and dismay.  And I even thought I heard Old Scratch himself murmur with a shrug of his ruddy shoulders, "well, I must say, I never saw that one coming."
