I have never in my life tried so hard on a drawing and not had the slightest clue what I was doing.
One request out of three finished!That said, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAN, YOU LITTLE MONSTER The request was I think "Bamf Cas. I like crazy Cas, but I want the old Cas. With fire. And Hell. And Dean. And wings, big wings. Make it creepy or shippy."
This is what resulted. Never again will I attempt lighting from opposite directions. NEVER. I also sincerely hope the colors come out--Tumblr and SAI are showing them fine, Photoshop is not. I will honestly cry if they don't.
This was my first for real realistic-sorta-kinda-thing. So here are my references:

Dean: Like a whole page of Google images I attempted to make him a touch skinnier (y'know, I don't think Alistair was feeding him well...)

8D So awesome! I mean, I'm not a fan of the show, or anything, but ASKDJDFASKSJ the lighting! The shading! The poses! I am in awe. Little question that I'm sure any SPN fan worth their salt knows but since I am the noowbiest noob there ever was when it comes to matters such as these: How in the world is Cas supposed to fight all those demons with that dinky little dagger? Or is there something special about it?

this is absolutely amazing! my love for this picture starts with the title and goes till every single detail!
i love the lighting, the shadows of those creatures/demons/monsters/whatever exactly they are, i love the poses of both of them, Cas and Dean, i love the expressions on their faces... (so full of despair... it's horrible!), i love the colors, i love the wings...
and the way you drew all this is very, very good!! (I'm trying to find a bad aspect to give you some advice, but there isn't any. sorry
