Description It's just dirt, I swear!

These here fellers are exclusive to Teal Version. Scarlet Version owners will instead find these guys: [link]

Scarabal (Scarab + Ball)
Tiny Beetle PKMN
Bug
Soil Gather (Sometimes collects Mulch after a battle)
1'00"
19.2 lbs
"It builds a ball of dirt and rolls it everywhere it goes. If it loses the ball, it will panic until it gets another."
"Having a dirt ball makes it feel secure and confident. When it's tired, it rests inside of the dirt ball."

Scatlas (Scat/Scarab + Atlas)
Robust PKMN
Bug/Ground
Soil Gather
1'08"
78.9 lbs
"It never tires of carrying its dirt ball over rough terrain. In fact, it gathers more dirt on the ball to make it bigger."
"Scatlas wrestle to settle dirt ball ownership disputes. It's uncommon for this Pokemon to become fatigued."

HP: 74
Attack: 80
Defense: 87
Sp. Atk: 40
Sp. Def: 59
Speed: 53
Total: 393

May I call your attention to their ability? "Soil Gather" is like Pickup and Honey Gather. After a battle, there's a chance a Pokemon with this ability will be holding some type of Mulch that you can use for growing berries. For those of you who have Scarlet, don't worry! The moles can have Soil Gather, too. [link]

These Pokemon learn Tackle, Harden, Bide, Mud Sport, Rollout, Safeguard, Covet, Natural Gift, Mud Bomb, Bug Buzz, Mud Slam, and Beetle Guard. Those last two are new. Mud Slam is a physical Ground-type attack with recoil, and Beetle Guard sharply raises Defense and Special Defense while sacrificing some HP. Naturally, the only Pokemon that could learn it would be beetle-like. Heracross, Pinsir, Ledian, etc.

Ehh, Mud Bomb and Bug Buzz are kind of a waste, what with their low Special Attack and everything. Still, I love these guys.

Scarabal and Scatlas (c) me.

Hey, it's not like I was the first to come up with dung beetle Pokemon. There are, like, over 20 on DA already at this point.

It's one of those early Bug-types that you can find all over the place.
