Description EDIT: Completely redone! Out of the three, Crustocean got the biggest overhaul. Now it looks more like a viking with axes for claws! Don't worry, fan-favorites Jungaru and Xenarson didn't have their designs changed nearly as much. Also, I've added some more data, so be sure to read that.

You can still see the originals here: [link]

My, how they've grown... [link] [link]

Yesireebob, it's the fully evolved fake starters! Jungaru, Xenarson, and Crustocean!

Jungaru (Jungle + Kangaroo)
Jungle PKMN
Grass
Overgrow
6'03''
164.3 lbs
"It's very skilled at kickboxing. It can balance on its tail so it can punch and kick at the same time."
"It's famous for its powerful kicks and incredible leaps. The current record jump length is 100 ft."

Xenarson (Xenarthran + Arson)
Bushfire PKMN
Fire
Blaze
4'07''
149.1 lbs
"It sets insect nests on fire and then demolishes them with its huge claws. It's Pyrant's mortal enemy."
"Its mane always gives off an aura of radiant warmth. The heat that emanates is particularly strong if it's angry."

Crustocean (Crustacean + Ocean)
Viking PKMN
Water
Torrent
4'11
389.1 lbs
"Its claws are able to penetrate the armor of tanks. If it focuses, it can be hit by a truck and not even budge."
"Its powerful pincers are swung around like axes. It tosses boulders and wrestles with rivals to show off its strength.

Jungaru:
HP: 93
Attack: 88
Defense: 81
Sp. Atk: 88
Sp Def: 95
Speed: 88
Total: 533

Xenarson:
HP: 80
Attack: 106
Defense: 70
Sp. Atk: 106
Sp. Def: 70
Speed: 101
Total: 533

Crustocean:
HP: 73
Attack: 118
Defense: 125
Sp. Atk: 75
Sp. Def: 86
Speed: 56
Total: 533

I'm not trying to boast here, but it is my honest opinion that Jungaru might be the coolest fully evolved grass starter I've ever seen. I believe that females would have a visible pouch, but considering starters are usually male... Yeah. Out of the fully evolved starters, Jungaru has the most HP and Special Defense. It's also likely the most balanced. Yet despite being the most balanced and having quite an expansive movepool, it might be the trickiest of the starters to raise. Why? Because many of the moves the Grass line learn by leveling up are unique to one or two members. You'll have to have a bit of a strategy to get the moves you want.

The Grass line level-up moves: Mach Punch (Jungaru only), Pound, Growl, Absorb, Bide (Eukola and Wumbush only), GrassWhistle, Block (Wumbush only), Magical Leaf, Grass Knot, Mega Drain (Eukola and Wumbush only), Jump Kick (Jungaru only), Amnesia, Scent Mixer, Poison Jab (Jungaru only), Giga Drain (Eukola and Wumbush only), Bounce (Jungaru only), Sludge Bomb (Eukola only), Hi Jump Kick (Jungaru only), and SolarBeam.

Ahh, Xenarson. Like many Fire-type starters, Xenarson's great with Speed and Attack/Sp. Attack, but its defenses are not so great. It might be the simplest of the starters to train, since it mostly just relies on attacking, shares its level-up moves with all of its pre-evolutions, and can learn attacks of several types.

The Fire line level-up moves: Scratch, Tail Whip, Ember, Lick, Fury Cutter, Fury Swipes, Flame Wheel, Ember Trap, Slash, Dig, Swords Dance, X-Scissor, Flame Tail (an attack that rarely hits, but when it does, it always causes Burn), Flare Blitz, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, and Thrash.

Crustocean's Attack and Defense stats are its greatest assets. It even has a higher Attack stat than Xenarson! It's capable of learning both offensive and defensive techniques, so if you want a tank as your best friend, pick Crubble, level it up, and watch it grow!Just don't expect it to win too many races...

The Water line level-up moves: Tackle, Sand-Attack, Bubble, Withdraw, Water Gun, ViceGrip, Vital Throw (Crabalt and Crustocean only), BubbleBeam (Crubble only), Seismic Toss (Crabalt and Crustocean only), Metal Claw, Brine, Protect, Rock Blast, Iron Defense, Crabhammer, Viking Axe (Crustocean's signature move; a Water-type Cross Chop), Brick Break, and Shell Cracker ( a physical Rock-type attack that does a good deal of damage AND possibly reduces the target's Defense).

Well, that does it for the starters! What are your thoughts? Who will ya choose?

Jungaru, Xenarson, and Crustocean (c) me.
Pokemon (c) Nintendo.

I'll choose the grass one

After looking at these I can't decide which one. So I'd go with the water one since I've recently gone with a grass type.

Do any of them have secondary types? I would guess Steel for Crustocean and Fighting for Jungaru, but I don't know about Xenarson.

(That is what my Crustocean will say after he evolved)

From the looks of it, I think Jungaroo should be a grass/fighting type... And Crustocean should be water/steel. Maybe Xenarson could be fire/dark... Thwey don't have to stay one type forever, btw ^^ Just some suggestions.
Also, I have to say this:
Out of all the fakemon I've searched, seen, and faved, these are, by a landslide, the best I've ever seen ;D

I think Jungaru should also be a fighting type.

And Crustocean should also be a steel type. Because at least two starters have dual type.

Xenarson looks awesome. If these pokemon were real, i would get his pre-evolved form.

MyStranger [2011-12-08 13:21:50 +0000 UTC]

If they were real, this would be the first generation I'd choose the fire-type.
I really like Xenarson (and it's a lot better than Heatmor).

Crustocean, definitely.

They all stay pure types? I personally imagine them being Grass/Fighting, Fire/Dark and Water/Steel, but they're cool as pure types too.

I think I would pick Crustocean, but I usually box my starter at some point anyway.

Twero [2011-04-20 17:28:48 +0000 UTC]

Ah, here goes the base status and moves they learn!
I can see how Jungaru is balanced, Xenarson is pose offensive and Custocean defensive.
The moves is great, personally I liked the Viking Axe. I don't know if you have explained this before, but what does the Scent mixer?
A personal opinion...I think Juganru's foot is a little weird...
And, comparing with the old version, the bright is more visible now!
To finish my comment, I'd like to know how you felt when Heatmor was reveled, comparing with Terhook and his evolutions?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LE-the-Creator In reply to Twero [2011-04-20 19:30:19 +0000 UTC]

Scent Mixer's effect is actually random. Sometimes it restores some HP, sometimes it raises Sp. Atk and Speed, and sometimes it gets rid of status conditions. Of course, if the user doesn't have a condition, then that'd just be bad luck.

Yeah... I struggled with Jungaru's feet/legs.

Nah, I'm used to it by now. Besides, fiery anteater Fakemon have been done before.

Yes. Epic. I must say, the grass starter has been lagging in last place for the past two forms, but that is an AWESOME final form. And Crustocean is awesome and Xenarson has an AMAZING name.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LE-the-Creator In reply to Psy-Cornix [2010-03-31 10:59:37 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! Yes, I thought Eukola and Wumbush seemed kinda bland, so I tried to make up for it by making Jungaru awesome.

Xenarson's original name was gonna be "Xenaroast", but I don't think that sounds NEARLY as cool.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Psy-Cornix In reply to LE-the-Creator [2010-03-31 11:03:59 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, the koalas are done pretty often, but completely turning around and turning them into just general marsupials is an amazing idea. And another thing- your fakemons' names aren't nearly as awkward-sounding as most. I guess you're just a natural at this. xD
