I started "The Name of the Wind" on a trip to Seattle. When it's raining buckets outside and you have a glass of wine beside a fireplace.. there is no better book to get lost in. Seriously. I was totally enchanted by it. I feel like I tripped and fell into this story, then came up for air eighteen chapters (and three glasses) later. Sigh. Thankfully, Mr. Rothfuss is writing us sequels. (Fetch me wine, a fireplace, and some precipitation!)

These two don't ever interact in the story, but for some reason I doodled them together. They represent different (but I'd say equally important) things for Kvothe. I love, love, LOVE the way Auri talks, and Denna won me over eventually... "It's right there! Look at the Goddamn huge dragon!"
