"Please, Adventurer! I just want your soul!"My Edda cosplay is finally complete! I received judge's choice: craftsmanship and 2nd place in props for this cosplay! I'm so happy, my first awards!
The entire outfit is cotton with a 4-tiered lolita petticoat underneath. Avere is made mostly of foam and the scythe is foam core board and a shower curtain rod. The total height of the scythe is 8' tall. I made everything except the stockings and boots.
I've wanted to do this outfit since Edda first appeared in Palace of the Dead. I love this outfit. It's comfy and Avere is actually held onto my shoulder with Velcro so I can remove him for photos and sitting. I had some trouble with the scythe during transport, but I'll be fixing it up before the next con.
