do you still remember the night
when all of the stars burned down?
it was a moment of heavenly silence
only for a dead star.
the star that started a fire in the sky
tripped over in her turning waltz,
falling, mistakenly, on earth
and drowned into the sea.
she ripped herself from the sky and immortality,
out of curiosity or destiny.
she lived on Earth for a second
and died for an eternity.
in honor of fate or coincidence,
i will faintly ask, once more:
do you still remember the night
when all of the stars burned down?
