So, SPOILERS obviously

Tigerwhisker is the father of Snowdrop and Kitty’s kits, but he isn’t their mate (been recently changed)
Kitty doesn’t like the idea of leaving the lake territory, as she always thought of the Twoleg Place as a sorta Backup plan.
When explaining this to Snowdrop, her mate, Snow is appalled at the thought of their kits being separated from
Them, and each other. Kitty says they’d have no choice, as the Twolegs would do it anyway. Snow tells her she’s not going.
And she’s not letting her kits go either. Kitty asks her to keep her two, Minkkit, and Briarkit, and Snow agrees.
To keep the siblings together.
Tigerwhisker overhears the argument, and when Kitty hands over her kits to Snow, Tigerwhisker offers to assist
In raising the kits, even though that was not previously agreed upon.
Snowdrop accepts help, as she’s a very young mother, and the pair raise the 5 kits together platonically.
The kits of course call Tiger Dad, and Snow Mom. They have yet to tell them of Kitty, and won’t until Snow is emotionally ready.
