Description We’re currently learning about Old Norse mythology and literature at school, and after reading about Hugin and Munin I had to draw them in some way. I’ve never drawn ravens before, so I decided to do something simple. Hugin and Munin travelled around the world, bringing news to Odin, the Lord of the Gods. I really like their names, which by the way means “thought” (Hugin) and “memory” (Munin). They’re surrounded by old Norse runes.

I'd really like to know the rune's meaning or are they just random...because i'd totally consider this for a tattoo if it meant something.

I think it's really well done. Adding the runes frames the ravens beautifully. You've chosen a nice rustic style, which is in character to how they were originally drawn. It looks like your intuition guided you on this, which is the whole point of working with the runes. Good on you!!!

Great work!
Rather simple, but really nice!
It's interesting that you learn something about Norse Mythology at school.
We never hear something about it here in german schools... it's a pity
