My friend Ari came to me a little less than two weeks ago with big black coat saying "can you alter this to be Snowman's coat?" I said "sure!"And here we are
many pricked fingers and about 9 yards of green ribbon later it's ready the day before her convention.My first go at Homestuck cosplay and my first bit of custom costume work, YAY!
I also did a good bit on the hat.

could i ask you what you did for the hat? I want to make my own snowman cosplay but i have no clue how to find the right kind of hat/or make one

Of course! Thank you for the compliment and for asking! ^^ The hat was made from a costume bowler hat and a costume witches hat. I cut the rim from the bowler hat and sewed the rim of the witches hat onto it, then after the basic shape was achieved I cut pieces of black fabric and covered the whole thing stitching everything real secure. The weight of the fabric happened to be dispersed just right to make that swoop in the brim so I'm not completely sure how easily that could be replicated but if you messed with it enough I bet it could be done. And then the eight ball was made from iron on printed paper ^^
This is a great time of year to look for the costume hats too! I hope that helped, if you happen to run into anymore questions don't hesitate to ask!
