How do I explain this? Well see I recently "acquired" photoshop, but I couldn't do this thing right so it says I only have 30 days to use it if I don't activate it...and I can't activate it because I can't do this one thing because I didn't actually buy it, I got it from a disc from a someone...Basically: I may only have photoshop for 30 days, so don't expect me to have stuff all done on photoshop from now on...unfortunately.
But this was a quick sketch I scanned in to try out photoshop, I really hate the eyes and the hair...but this is my first ever photoshop thing sorta, so yeah give me a break please. ;D
But I like the background...

youve only had photoshop for a couple of days and your like almost pro!!! and ive had it for like... 5 months, and i cant even do backgrounds, or shading or anything!!! (is it because i have the old model?) i cant even make good lines like you!!!

I looked at a lot of tutorials here at DA, they were really helpful. ^w^ For the lines, I used the pen tool to trace the sketch I scanned in, I could never do it by drawing by the mouse. The shading wasn't too bad once I sorta got the hang of the tool, though it can be tough sometimes... And for the background those are just brushes, I used like leaves then I went over that with the liquid brush thingy and then added some flowers with a brush tool, it was pretty easy.
