Its in MD, but very close to the MD / VA border. There are a bunch of beautiful falls along the blueridge parkway, 4 in VA i think. This isnt one of them, but it does similar to one near the pkwy! ( i cant recall the name of that one )

It is a really nice spot. A nearby sign ( [link] ) shows that some famous names like Edison and Burroughs also agree that it was a fine place to stay ^.^
