The devourer of the dead / eater of hearts (in ancient Egyptian religion).About her: She lived in the Duat (Egyptian underworld), near the scales of justice and ate the hearts the scales judge "not pure". (Anubis weighted the heart of a person against the feather of Ma'at, the goddess of truth). It's not really clear so here a better explanation: here
