Description I've had this sketch done for a few weeks but I wanted to wait until I had nice Arches paper to work on. I think it was inspired by the description of the perfume "The Ghost" from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.

And, in real life the painting is not tilted. My scanner sometime crops scans funny and tilts them, I didn't notice until I had put my scanner away.

I love the glow emitting from the moon... You got that spot on! And fantastic job with the shadows cast on the ground! You've got a good hold on directional lighting in your paintings, which is something that a lot of people tend to ignore...

Thanks I always really admire paintings with a good sense of lighting, so someday I want to get really good at it so I can put in all sorts of neat lighting in my paintings

i recall this one winter night last yr when i walked to a park at night to do some serious life thinking. the park was on top of a hill & the trees looked spooky against the sky. it was near freezing out but i needed that time to think..... this pict reminds me of that night.
