This came out very adorable; I love how interested Teagan is in the tome and while Gareth does look bored that little blush and heart shows that he is interested in making sure Teagan is happy, so that is very sweet

Well I think the colours are nice and rich, and Teagan looks adorable peering round like that, though what is that in her hand? I bet there's all these dates and people with the same name all in one confusing lecture about battles and stuff ugh, get to the parts about torture and intregue

thanks! though i've been thinking about making Teagan more orange than red lol.
it's her crutch since she has a bad foot.
lol no they must research it all, all the boring stuff, it will be on the test

She could dye her fur to make it more red, but that'd take forever
Maybe she just got it, as before her foot didn't hurt as much
That's torture!

Lol a slave to beauty
Actually yes that was my idea. Her foot was deformed at birth but then when on her adventure with Gareth she permanently injured it and needs a crutch
Welcome to school

She's actually a grey squirrel but grey is so unsightly darling.
he's well-off, he can afford a sturdy crutch for her
Nooooo not again!

I think grey could be pretty. I was thinking of making a grey mouse character.
lol i wouldn't call a banished war lords son well off, they could just snap a branch off and widdle it into a crutch shape.

Grey squirrels are alright, but I much prefer the reds, they're so much cuter and less...invasively aggressive.
I saw a grey rat in a petshop yesterday, it was very cute sleeping in its hammock lol. I didn't actually think they were that large in real life, they seem smaller when people handle them.
He would be if he'd stolen some of the warlord's fortune! Honestly, what kind of banished son is he not to have taken a percentage of what's rightfully his!

The grey are the reason the reds are going extinct, they're more territorial, breed faster, are bigger, and compete for food, forcing the reds out of habitats. I think the brown is a grey but it just looks brown lol, the greys in the uk are brown too but still considered to be grey. My aunt had a bunch in her back garden, they were hilarious to watch, but yes, destructive.
He may well have been, they never labelled if they were male or female on the tank, but he was cute, though I like the black hooded rat more.
That's his father's opinion! Or it could have all been a ploy, appearing incompetent to throw his family off thinking he'sa threat

oh i see. the ones we have are considered red squirrels though i'm not sure how they count, they are grey with orange bellies. there are a lot of them cause we have a lot of trees in our yard and they destroy my moms tomato plants despite her efforts.
why do you like the hooded ones more?
Gareth would never like to ever be thought of as something incompetent or worthless, these fools just don't see his true potential! he was all set to prove them wrong but then he met Teagan and- his plans didn't change, but now he has added to his plans and kidnap and marriage are a part of them.

I'm sure biologists or whatever have criteria to categorise squirrels by.
Do they just rip the plants out? I hear they get in to people's roof spaces and can cause electrical fires when biting through wires. They have red squirreks here only in Scotland (where they're actually exploding in population in some places), and the Isle of Wight, where they've made little squirrel highways over roads so they don't get hit by cars (not that the traffic there is crazy, we went there one time and the buses only run every hour, so we had to walk the entire length of the island just to get back to the ferry)
Hmm I guess its the markings, I like how clean the colour break is, like with Dutch bunnies, I love Dutch bunnies, they look like someone painted the colour on them so perfectly.
But does he really need to kidnap her?

well i mean, they chew them up, they don't rip them out of the ground. oh yeah everyone knows about that. wild rats and racoons and possoms are equally destructive like that.
squirrel highways?
was it a long walk, or a sort of short walk?
i always figured the hoodeds were sort of common, the more solid colored ones are rare, that is when you go to the stores i go to, lol. white and hooded rats are the most common.
what sort of vermin villian would he be if he didn't?

Argh! What if she sprayed capsicum on the stems, would that effect the squirrels? I don't know if they react to peppery things the same way as humans.
Yeah it's a little suspended length of cabling that the squirrels can run along over the roads, so they don't have to cross on the ground and get hit by traffic.
Thath's the thing, the map estimates the walk, and had it down as 30mins (from the station to our destination), turned out to be way longer and we're not slow walkers.
I don't know really, I guess they may be, but we went back there this week and the little hooded one was still there, along with the grey one, snd a second grey hooded one. It was so funny watching the black hooded one trying to get up into the suspended hammock, it kept stretching up and trying to reach it, not smart enough to realise they had put a little house for it to climb on. I wouldn't mind getting a rat, but the fact they live so short is a reason I wouldn't. We were planning to get another rabbit and take it on the plane, but I have no idea how one does that and how Bear would react to it.
One who doesn't go in for kidnapping, his plans are much greater and uh...more complex!
