my half of a trade with my dear beloved mate of the soul Sleyf !
after this comic where Henri was very unfortunately rendered: I felt Henri needed a proper depiction of nobility... I thought he'd look pretty great as a detective in a film noir!
like, whatever toulouse! which proper creativity anything is possible!I liked him with his hair down... so thats how i drew it! not very stylish i guess... but why not?

I love the lamppost behind him, it's very elaborately drawn and reminds me a bit of the one in Narnia.
I like the outfit you've chosen for him too, I can see Henri making a really good PI in a noir story so this is a great scene for him. Lovely art trade

this was the episode where there was a disease going around that temporarily turned everyone into chickens, if you're wondering what was going on with that. i hoped the lampost didn't look like it was misplaced... its anatomically possible for him to lean against it like that right? right?! *panics and frets*
this picture isn't that exciting, i wanted it to be more stylized, but it just looked kind of blah... henri behaved though... and with pen no less! oh that wasn't a breeze... not intentionally... but it is now i guess! *street garbage wafts by*
I imagined in this he's like a ghost buster or something... it feels like a paranormal anime setting.
Petrish would be perfect as a paranormal investigator, i can see her doing well in a game like "Dreadout" or "fatal frame". lol we should draw her and henri playing horror games and Henri is spooked and Petrish is into it.
lol i can hear the inner monologue, like in those film noir books. "she walked into my office. the second i saw her i knew. i knew she was a dame with a story behind those tear stained eyes and those black knee high boots."

Lol, I found it more funny than vulgar lol. (He probably saw the funny side later, or so I say!). Lol oh my god, hats AND chickens! I like it when he asks about the derby hat the most. Ohhh I was wondering why they became chickens, I just thought it was random muppet randomness.

You're right, like a supernatural investigator.
Henri doesn't get scared of supernatural things that easilly, don't forget that his house that he inherits was basically a mass murder scene (and he still lives there!).
