What do you do when you're just minding your own business and then some tail comes out of nowhere and wraps you up?The question is does he aim to squeeze her to death, or is he just seeking heat like any cold blooded reptile would?
opportunistic snekkity boy that he is it is of course the latter, because if he ate her, then he would no longer have a servant to cook, clean, and polish his scales. she provides so many services- including acting as his personal hot water bottle.
I despise drawing Asher's face and hair so if I can avoid it, then I do.

How very rude of some people, utilising others as personal heaters (the life of a servant is tough) though I expect each time he does that there’s still the instant of terror and uncertainty of ‘will he crush me this time or not?’

that's what she gets for putting up with him for so long- and staying in close enough range to get snatched like that.
possibly, especially since honestly nagas are probably bigger and stronger than a little taur like her.
however she's a mongoose, she should have quicker reflexes and instincts than that.
Lear's kind of not the best beast she's a bad hunter and fighter.

She let her guard down, in the wild she’d have been eaten, she got too comfortable.
Then it’s kind of a good thing she ended up with a more lenient master (though I expect if she were a fighter, she’d not be in the servant situation)

her expressions a bit weird, it was alright because the sketch in my book wasn't very big but up close and scanned she has a case of muppet mouth syndrome

since the word see and the letter c sound the same or almost. one could say I see = I c. think about it.

I know about abbreviations Vincent, but it didn't make a lot of sense in your context as "I see but interesting" would be "I see, but interesting" or "I see! But interesting."
what exactly do you see that makes my piece interesting, regardless of whatever you "C" does to fault the interest?
Due to the sentence structure and lack of clarification as to what it is that you see, I could only conclude that "IC" meant something that would shed light on what placed the "but" in your sentence, such as an abbreviation for "Inadequate Composition" or something along those lines.
