NOTES:
- Clarabel has had many different crews over the years. Notably, these include:
- Main Crew: Ike (Guard)
- Alt. Crew: Georgia (Guard)
- Despite having worked together for many years, Annie is noticeably older than both Bridgette and Clarabel. In fact, she was one of the Express Coaches used on the Wild Nor'Wester in the early days, something she remains proud of to this day.
- Bridgette and Clarabel are closer to one another than they are with Annie, and that can be evident with how Annie still carries a snooty air about her to this day.
- Before being assigned to Thomas's Branch Line, neither Annie, Bridgette or Clarabel had names for themselves (This was to be expected, as most rolling stock don't have names). The three eventually acquired their names over time, with Thomas helping them come up with some for themselves. They now happily have them painted along their sides, for everyone to see and know who they are.
- Annie, as per usual among the trio, was the first to acquire a name, followed shortly by Clarabel. Bridgette took a long time to acquire a name for herself, but eventually found one shortly after Daisy's arrival.
- Bridgette is a quiet sort, who only speaks when she means to say something. For this reason, Clarabel often speaks on her behalf, generally acting as the voice for the trio when dealing with the other engines.
- All forms of sentient vehicles & rolling stock can communicate with one another in means that normal humans cannot understand, usually sounding like the normal noises made by them while working. That does not mean they all understand one another, as it would take a great deal of understanding for the likes of an engine to understand 'coach-speak', as it's colloquially referred to.
- Clarabel regularly indulges in gossip among the other coaches, often trading news and stories from the Branch Line with those on the Main Line. Annie detests the thought of it, but keenly listens in whenever she sees her colleagues from the old days.
- Annie was a well-known flirt in her youth, and once (allegedly) hit up Gordon in his first few days on the railway. Needless to say, Gordon had quite the experience of culture shock compared to how coaches were on the GNR.
- Bridgette may be silent, but she has a very low amount of tolerance for rudeness. In fact, in the early days, she was often referred to by another moniker, Gweithred, for how she would organize the coaches together when another engine wronged them. For some engines, she was largely considered a karmic force to be reckoned with, a silent judge who one had best not wrong...
- Gweithred is Welsh for 'Action', and was given to her by an engine on loan during the early days who she had given a short, sharp lesson on why bumping carriages at the platform is a bad idea.
- When the other engines learned that it would be moved to the Ffarquhar Branch Line with Thomas, some considered it a blessing and a curse. One on wheel, the yards would no longer carry a tense atmosphere with her around, but on the other, Thomas would learn very quickly not to wrong her.
