Surprisingly it took a little over a week.
Certainly on of the more complex pictures I've but that's just going by Time Eater alone. Did a little more fooling arou... *ahem* I mean experimenting with shading so yeah. Comparing both versions of this final boss on a personal note I like the 3DS version better than the 360/PC/PS3 versions. Sure it easier but it isn't long and unnecessarily drawn out.

I'm going to say it. I did not hate this boss in the console version. Not even close. In fact, I quite enjoyed it. And I think this artwork portrays that fight very well. The colors are really bright and close to the original fight and it makes the fight look bada**. If I was to have one complaint, is that the left arm on the Time Earter looks weird and disoriented. But other than that, this was a great picture. I wish people would just stop bashing this fight repeatedly and call him the worst Sonic boss and keep the hatred to themselves.

Anyway This picture looks incredible. Being perfectly honest, I like how you did the two sonics and the Time Eater. Drawing that beast must have been hard for you! Last time I tried to draw a Time Eater it ended up looking completely different..... ^^'
The Sonic's are in the perfect pose for this picture, and so is the Time Eater. You must be very proud of this piece of fantastic work. I look forward to more awesome pictures which may come in the future.
By the way, on the 3DS version of Time Eater, its impossible for me to get a S rank on it.

Vision: I love the angle this is at! And i love all the negative space going on in this! This has to be one of the best sonic pieces i've seen in a while!
Originality: I really love modern sonic's pose & expression. I really don't know what else to say! Its really original, there you go! xD
Technique: The technique on time eater is really great! he really stands out, i love it! I think the background could be a bit more complex, and the shading on sonic is very subtle in some spots, where it should be more bold.
Impact: The second i saw this on the front page i HAD to click it! very beautiful! :'D

Did you know that in the music of the Time Eater Last Boss Fight, the words sung are "Dominus Tempus," which is Latin for "Master Of Time." Isn't that cool?

I'm probably alone on this, but I actually enjoyed this boss fight. Granted it's not the best final boss of the series, but it's certainly better than the 360/PS3 version of Perfect Dark Gaia from Unleashed , Solaris from 06, or Devil Doom from Shadow.

This boss was such a pain in the butt in the console version, but I loved the fight in the 3DS version! Sure, it was easy, but at least it didn't take 7 minutes (my longest time on the console version).

Time Eater is one totally evil being. I'd almost say, next to Solaris, it must be the most powerful villain of Sonic history (It can ERASE time and space for crying out loud!).

That battle was soo hard at first but when I changed the music 2 my fav sonic sonic "what I'm made of" I SMASHED it with about 500 rings! I was like ....did I really do that.... still that's 1 nicely made pic!

I can see why the console version is a bitch, but here's some tips for those who struggle with it:
1. The best time to hit the core is to do so while within the time tunnel thingamawhosit, because I find it impossible to do so while outside the tunnel.
2. The best strategy I can think of for this beast: When close, you will hear a beep 3 times before he claps you. A simple solution: Move upward slightly above the lower hands and downward slightly below the upper hands when he claps.
3. Then, move back into position where you are facing the core and you should be able to simply move or dash towards it.
4. Countering the finishing fireball move is incredibly misleading; "press L1 & R1 at the same time to combine your powers". NO NO NO NO! DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT SHIT! Instead, PRESS AND HOLD L1 & R1 UNTIL IT CUTS TO CUTSCENE WHERE THE HEDGEHOGS PLOW THRU BARRIER AND DESTROY THE BEAST!
I find that throwing Classic Sonic is useless no matter what, although it probably will get you closer to the core, but it is really hard for me to tell. For more info, check gamefaqs.
I hope that this helps all who struggle to death with it.

you're right, this guy WAS a pain in the rear, nut shockingly I managed to beat it in a bit over 4 minutes and get an 'S' rank! (No joke, I can't go faster when he deployes that time shield of his, it's annoying!)

Wow, Heh heh I gotta say really your the first artist ive seen who's atleast managed to do Time Eater, probably the most complicated boss SEGA has ever freaking created^^ the quality is astounding and the effects just shine and pop with such fine detail and lovely color that really brightens up the picture very well
