Man, that is really awesome. Really like the blurriness (feels "just right" to me, dunno) and the way the character and the background sort of melds together is a neat technique.
Your coloring always blows my mind, of course, so there really isn't much there to say except AH I LOVE IT 
I'm also really diggin' the lighting; you successfully added a light source, and the way the hair turns into a deep, dark purple is incredible as well; if you squint enough, you can tell that there's a color difference. (..At least, in my computer XD;; )
This looks like it would be a promotional anime of Melty Blood (SUCH a crazy game TT3TT ); the quality is THAT good.

I think the blur would look better with a more pronounced "halo" effect.
Aside from that, "melty blood" gives me images of gooey, coagulated blood.
