Description I don't do sculpture very often, but I got bit by the bug this week around my birthday, so I splurged and bought myself some new Super Sculpey clay and went to town. Also, the subject is random, but I found her features to be something I was interested in rendering in 3D. was a great study! Also, I did not use any official tools to sculpt - just my hands and fingernails.

I hope to bake this and paint it, as well! The ultimate test, haha!

Media: Super Sculpey, aluminum foil, aluminum mesh (for horns and ear-fins)

Size specifications:

Length: 3 2/3 inches
Height: 3 1/2 inches
Width: 2 1/2 inches

Time: 7-10 hours? I don't really remember, but under a day.

Lovely I like the small Details and also the colored version of him
His eyebrowns give him a curious look, though.

How'd you work? Did you already had a concept in your mind when you started?
and which kind of clay did you use? air drying?
ah I'm sorry, If I'm too curious..

I worked from an image reference of the dragon in particular, but worked from observation only and corrected things as I went along. Also, this was made with Super Sculpey, an oven-baking clay that is fairly good at holding detail. Thanks for your interest and comment! : )

Aw, thank you! I'm happy with it's level of realism, especially for not having worked with clay in years!

Aw, thank you - I guess she is pretty lucky, but this didn't take too long, so I may nab a few other unsuspecting victims- er, lucky individuals for further practice!
