Description
Humanized fanart inspired by 's Transformers fanfiction, Surface of the Sun.From left to right, the characters in the second panel are:
- Sunstreaker
- Elita One
- Megatron
In the story, Cybertron is at peace and Megatron is still a good Lord Protector of Cybertron. Young Sunstreaker is studying art under Elita's training, and they go to an art exhibition along with Optimus, Ironhide, Chromia and Megatron in chapter 20 . Megatron is confused by those paintings, while Chromia jokes that he needs to be cultured to understand art.
In chapter 22 , Elita thinks it would be a good idea to hang Sunstreaker's paintings in some rooms in the Crystal Spires to advertise his talents. Sunstreaker suggests to hang some pictures in Megatron's rooms just to confuse the poor mech even more, and Elita agrees with her apprentice full-heartedly.
The scene depicted in this comic never happens in the story, but I think it would be fun to draw Megatron's reaction if Elita and Sunny ever manage to hang a portrait of him in his office. The Lord High Protector is so going to have a big headache while trying to figure out what Sunny is drawing in that picture.

Oh man, this is too funny on sooo many levels. After spending four years doing volunteer tours at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Megatron's expression is spot on for a lot of patrons who come through when they figure out/are explained what a particular abstract piece is supposed to be. As for the actual piece in the first panel, I would totally try to give you some realistic feed back, but I just keep looking at the panel and then cracking up into hysterics. It's like a demented acid-trip rage-face and the colors and the chaos and the *looming* and...and...

So he may be taking this situation surprisingly calmly, but I think his angular slender face, grey hair and carrying uniform with posh pride are spot-on. (Such a horrible person, yet always kind of fabulous.)
I like this Megs and am enjoying your gallery, too bad I don't know all of the featured transformer characters at this point. Btw while I'm at it, Elita's stylish hairdo makes her rather recognizable.

Well, I admit I have some kind of uniform fetish, so I tend to make Megs look like this when I wanna draw his human form in a military uniform. Besides, in fictitious world, villains are often hotter than good guys. Maybe that's why they're always kind of fabulous regardless of their evilness.
