Well, I do write fanfics sometimes, but most of the fics are written in Chinese. It's still difficult for me to write a proper story with fluent English...

I guess it's difficult for anyone to write stories with a foreign language. Hope you can get some inspirations soon! If you ever come up with a story, please send me a link to it so I can go give it a read. I'd love to read your story.

It's not easy to write their relationship, but if someone can write it out successfully, it will definitely be an awesome story.

Haven't even tough of smt y.y It's so difficult. I was successful at imagining hijikata with an oc, tough.

Maybe theirs would be a tae x gin relationship-like.

LOL! Yeah, I have the same feeling about their relationship. I can already imagine a smiling Otae saying something to make Hijikata (or Gintoki, if the story is going to be a Gin/Otae one) scowl... Oh dear, that would be a very cute scene!

The difference between Gintoki and Hijikata is that she seems to respect Hijikata the most and does not has the same intimacie. It's more "serious".

Unless he has to interfere for Kondou's sake again, and then she says smt to make him scowl... like "puppy XD"

Forgot the english name for that old gossip womand that tries to set their sons XD

LOL! Yeah, she did held a much more polite attitude toward Hijikata rather than Gintoki... although I have to admit that I personally am very curious about what they will react once they get familiar with each other. The scene of Otae throwing Hijikata over her shoulder after a big fight would definitely be a very priceless scene.

What gossip woman? You mean the woman who put her son in front of Gintoki's doorstep?

Uh... do you know that old womans who insists to ack as a cupid for their sons? Well, forgot the name now XD

What i meant was that I can imagine a story where hijikata tries to act like this kind of cupid to kondou XD

And she beating the hell out of him would be so nice. Hijikata has a grudge against gintoki because he has beatn him... And people makes yaoi with it.

So, why not to make hijikata have any kind of grudge against Otae too? XD

Huh? I don't know who those old women are... Perhaps they're the original characters in the anime version? I only read Gintama's manga so I can't recall those women you mentioned.

Oh, yeah, Hijikata does act like Kondou's Cupid! I bet the man would do anything to ensure that his superior could live a happier life. And I understand what you're refering to - the real fun of Gintoki/Hijikata pairing is because they often fight a lot, both in physical and verbal ways.

I can't figure out what kind of grudge Hijikata will have toward Otae right now, since he seems like a man who will respect a woman no matter what... Anyway, seeing Otae beating Hjikata up is still a priceless scene.

I suppose the answer would be "obasan"? It's the most frequent word to call those women in Japanese.

The idea of Hijikata chasing Otae as a Cupid sounds pretty funny and lovely! Let's hope Kondou wouldn't get mad after hearing about this news from other people...
