2007 vs 2008 - which do you like better?
of course, i was a little rough and sloppy on 2008. i remember being quite happy about how 2007 turned out when i finished it, whenever that was. some things look plain weird today, so it goes without saying that i like the new version better. ^^

however, i think you should be careful with ou shadows around the nose

both are great, but it would be better with changing the color of the left skin with the right one

yes, indeed the right one has a hue that is much easier on the eyes... i remember i saw an artist color skin in very yellow hues, so i wanted to try it out...

I like the one on the right better. The colors and shading look nicer to me (though it does depend on the surroundings as to how the colors and shadows would be portrayed). However, I like how the hair is more defined on the left one. The shading of the hair seems a bit light on the right one, in my opinion.

yeah, i just went over it, took about five minutes to make so it could be a lot more detailed, but it looks better with the overall style

I really love the old one. ^^
But I'm tied between the two.
The left one, It just has so much of a softer feel than the right one, although you, once again, did an excellent job of re-doing it.
The right one looks a lot more realistic than the left one.

? that's the older one isn't it? XD leave it to me to miss that. well it's mainly because of the mood of the picture and the smother blending of the colors and the nose into the face why i like it ^^
