So you have to read the full title in the image. Could be my longest ever.

So this was a bit of an experiment. Firstly, I didn't draw the images. I wanted to see if I could convey the feeling of the SQ&FH, or at least Elsa and Yasha's relationship, using a very restricted format, i.e. character doll creators. These particular ones were all from www.dressupgames.com (which is a pretty entertaining site, actually) I wanted to use no dialog and see how close I could get...in a Japanese RomCom kind of way. Think of it as editing/directing vs writing in a movie production. I found the whole experiment pretty fun. Even the lyrics fit the images in a whole different dynamic with the images. I was actually pretty impressed with the whole thing.

So, I'd most like to hear from anyone who's read the story, so they can give me their thoughts on how well the images fit. Does the progression of pictures capture how Elsa and Yasha travel their path together?

By the way, the song is Niji by Arashi. I also made my own translation of the lyrics and put them below:

It’s always like that.

When you get upset,

You go and hide my important things.

But the place you put them is always the same,

So today I’ll try waiting there for you.

The seasons bring along the setting sun,

And the shadows stretch to find me.

With a startled expression you fix your eyes on me,

And then pout as you look away.

But that’s not very honest.

I wonder why you can’t say it…

“I love you” – Such simple words.

Words I want to hear now and again.

And so today is the day for us,

For our names to become the same.

It’s the day our love will start to grow.

Rainbows are so beautiful,

But no, it’s you that’s beautiful.

For the blush you begin to wear,
