[EDIT] Softened the grass, and added some clouds,The look and feel of this was inspired by Edward Hoppers work, for those who are unfamiliar with his work theres something called 'google'.

This is breathtaking. I envy your talent. Particularly, I love how her skirt is swaying and flowing, taking on the same personality as the grass. Seems so perfect and peaceful.

i'm more lacking the means though. both my cameras have light leaks. but i have a roll inside one of the cameras that i have to finish before i take it to the shop, and i picked it up for the first time in probably two or three months and took some photos. it felt good.

hopper was a great artist, i particularly love nighthawks, though his paitings of cape cod are good too, though i believe his works that are concentrated on new york architecture to be the best

Yeah, nighthawks is a classic wlhtough i dont like the fact its so common these days with all these prints. I just love the feeling that his images convey. I liked the city ones too, especially with the one where a girl is peering out of her window in the morning.

yeah, buro in new york its called, another great peice; i think the atmosphere of his paintings is unparalelled by any other artist I have ever come across, he really shows his love of hollywood and it's films in his paintings - most of his paintings use a window which conveys the idea of a cinema screen which i think is a really clever idea.

indeed, i love the cinematic feel, and i also like his technique. I think what makes his works so special to me is that he conveys feelings and situations that feel very familiar and relate to, like the girl that stares out the window.

yeah, another thing i love about his work is the way that he somehow manages to paint realistically in a stylised way, if you get a what I mean.
IMO he's quite underated.

Some of david hockneys work in the 60s70's remind me of hopper, i love the way he painted too.

this is one of the most beautiful art works I have ever sene in vector, and it's also uniqie ot me. ive never seen one like it before. its very beautiful. i almost thought it was a photo or 3d!

thanks, the grass was just repeated aload of times, then softened in PS. Oh and i exported the individual elements like the girl and grass seperately into photoshop.
