Thanks. They do. I have no doubt they'd get along. It's rare I draw characters happy but this had to be done. Everyone liked the sketch too. I know all too well what it's like to hold lovely baby birds. I don't think this is my Scary Fear so Baba would have no reason to be afraid of him. I wanted some nice beach sand dunes for them to have been playing on.

Ireland is a beautiful place. I miss it a lot. I had a Irish boyfriend two years ago. And I flew to Ireland once two months to meet him. (And he flew to Spain once two months to meet me) In this way for four years. Anyway! That´s a story not to tell here. (I´ll tell you in other time) That´s why I know Ireland very well. It´s totally green. It´s called The Emerald Island. People is really nice. Their characters are very similar to Spanish. Due this they are called, here in Europe, the North latinos. If you decided to come to Ireland any time, don´t leave to tell me and I ´ll meet you there. It´s two hours and a half from Spain by plane only. And I work for Iberia, Spanish Airlines, so I have no problem with the prize of the air company tickets.
When you draw Miedo in Ireland don´t forget to paint the landscape in green and cloudy sky! There it´s raining almost every day and as I told you all the island is green!

Oh yeah you'll have to tell me some other time. That's great you work for the airline. I have never been to Spain. Would like to go one day. I love to travel.
Hehe ok. But this is the fictional island of Puffin Rock near Ireland. Here is what the whole island looks like in the cartoon. They were on the sandy beach part on the right side.

Ha ha ha! Puffin Rock sure is green as well, like all the north of Europe, ha ha ha! Of course if they were in the beach the landscape has the color of the sand. Sorry!! I didn´t realize!
Sure we meet here or in Ireland in a future!

I thought to fly to USA on February or March. It´s very sad because I´ve working for Iberia since I was twenty four (long long time ago...) and I always have wanted to go to Unites States (since I was eighteen) but I´ve never done because I´ve never found anybody to go with me. (My friends hand´t got money or they preferred to go to other places...or we had different periods of holidays times...) And this year I spoke with a my school friend (We are friends since we are four!!) and she told me she would go to USA with me when I want. So... Iberia flies to Florida, Los Ángeles, Boston, New York, Washington and Chicago. And we spoke to go to Florida or New York. Everybody says that New York is great city but I think that skyscraper can be a bit oppressive. So that´s why I preferred Miami. I´ll tell you what we decide the place to visit. (I think she knows New York but she doesn´t know Miami.

Traveling alone is fun too. I have flown to Mexico by myself when I was 11. And two years ago I went on a train and visited my friend in North Carolina. I really enjoyed that so much. I might go to Canada by myself next year. Maybe. It's just an idea right now. Florida is better than New York. I have been to New York 4 time. I love that city but Miami is MUCH better. Plus I love the natural places best and Florida is beautiful with all the habitats like the coast, estuaries, woods etc. Let me know if you ever come to Tampa.

Ah Tampa! The sister of a Iberia colleague lives there. I´ll ask her the next time I see her.
I don´t care to travel alone. The problem for me is to be alone in the place because I bore a lot. I like to speak to someone about the places I´m visiting or the anecdotes during the trip or the things what happen. I admire the people who are able to be in a place while holidays alone. I need somebody to push me to do the things when I am in a foreign place. I´ve traveled alone when I was younger but it´s not for me. The curious thing is that I have not problem to do new friends because I speak to everybody but I got new friends the last days of my travel always, so I decided to desist.
I want to go to Canadá as well. It´s one of my priorities places to visit.
I prefer to go to Florida. I have to meet my school friend tomorrow or in two days cause we have to prepare the Halloween party in her home. I´ll speak to him about this. I know she knows NY but I think she doesn´t know Florida.
Florida in spanish means a place with a lot of flowers. Has Florida a lot of flowers?

Yes I am very extrovert. I like to speak to the people But believe me if I tell you that I don´t like the places with many people. And like you I have a few very close friends. I remember I had a friend a few years ago who had a lot a lot of friends. She always was in parties and meetings surrounded with a lot of people. She told me that she had someone to have a drink or to go out with in any time she wanted. Never alone. The hard reality is that she hand´t good friends. Only people to go out always. Sometimes I´d like to go out or to speak to anybody and I can´t because my friends are working or doing things but if I have a problem they are with me all the time.
And I have an advantage: I have a mental bell which advise me if there is something wrong with the people I speak to. We call it: to read between lines. Leer entre lineas es la expresión en español. I helps me to find out with what kind of people I´m speaking to and to avoid problems because I´m able to see things that aren´t see in a simple look.
I understand you when you tell me that you like to have your meal alone. So do I. And I spend a lot of time alone doing things and I am happy as well. but incredibly I like to travel with friends or doing things with friends to comment the things that happen.
I´ll like to see the pictures you take of blooming Florida. I love pink and purple trees. I´ll speak to my friend to go to Miami instead going NY. I think she will tell me yes. She is a nice person and she likes everything. And she has free tickets plane as well because her husband is an Iberia cabin crew so she hash´t any problem with the price of the tickets.

Oh I'm glad to hear you are selective of your friends then. Not many extroverts are. Those that have like 100 "friends" really don't have any. Those are acquaintances because it takes a long time to get to know someone and trust them. Friendship takes work that doesn't happen over night.
Ah, you have intuition. I do as well. We can just tell about people or if a situation is good or bad. There's no way to explain it. It just comes from our subconscious and we are more in tune with that than some people. Like the Sensing types.
You'll see when I get around to uploading some nature pics on my other account.

Karyl-Delta In reply to Leeanix [2015-10-25 11:48:54 +0000 UTC]
Yes. And I understand that friends can fail sometimes because they are humans. But I remember, that girl I spoke to you about had a lot of "friends" to go out the weekends but one they she needed a simple favor. She needed friends to help her to clean her new house because she had to leave her old one out of the blue. She spoke to four ones. Nobody could go except her boyfriend and me. And I was her colleague in Iberia only. I wasn't´considered one of "her best friends" by her.
You are very right: There is no way to explain why a person with intuition knows if a situation is good or bad. It´s a sixth sense. But I realize that few few few people have. There are many people which say they have. But or it isn´t true or they have few. A lot of times they can´t see the simplest things in front of them.

Leeanix In reply to Karyl-Delta [2015-10-25 12:43:57 +0000 UTC]
That's because there are more S types (Sensing) in the world than N types (iNtuitives). That proved she had no friends and had no idea who her real friends are.
I have had many times when I knew to not do something or go somewhere. I didn't know why but I listened to my intuition and then was glad I didn't do it because something bad happened.

Sometimes I´ve known things but I ´ve left them apart thinking they are a thinking only...And I made a mistake and later I regretted. Thankd God in no very important things. But I was referred to situations or people doing or saying something in which nobody see what is back or in and it´s like a bit for me. It´s so clear...And time gives me the reason in a 99% of times. But I have the same intuition for those bad things you told me as well. And I image that you intuition works, as mine, knowing good things or telling you to do something and not to Know why and to be a very good thing in the future.

Lovely depiction of the beach area away from the ocean. I remember the times when I went to the Netherlands to the beaches and those grasses were everywhere. As was the sand in my shoes. All worth it to hold a baby puffing in one's hands. It's a really lovely animal, and Baba is a really lovely specimen.

Thanks. Yes I actually didn't want to show the water this time. These sand dunes are nice with all the neat grasses on them. I really should have added more grass. I'm not a fan of sand though. It's one reason I used to hate beaches. I'd love to hold a baby puffin. I often wonder why they made Baba white instead of grey like real baby puffins? But he sure is.

Oh hello, I'm fashionably late. I have been waiting seven years for this. Everyday, I would spend hours praying, wishing, begging for this to be completed, and now here it is in all it's wonderful glory. I'm crying, so much that my room is flooding. Help, I'm drowning in my own tears of joy. Well actually I'm kidding, but I still really like this. The clouds look really fluffy, the sand seems real sandy, Fear with his almost hyper realistic irises looking kind of creepy and Baba the marshmallow puffin baby looks adorable.

It's funny because I wanted to make the background look like Baba's home but then I though, nah keep it easy in my style. But once textured it turned out a bit like that anyway. Yeah I plan to do more Puffin Rock art. This gallery will be a mix of cute and creepy.
