Description
This started out as a value study practice base of a punisher movie poster. Along the way i caught a fan film on youtube and got inspired to paint this. This is not Sam Fisher, but some agent from the third echelon.Splinter cell is one of my favourite game. As much as the developer wanted the game to be realistic, i find it funny the enemies can't see the glowing light of the trifocal goggles in the dark. However i really like the treatment given to 'conviction' which i depict here in this painting. If you like hiding in shadow and stalking people then you might like this game. For the fans of this game, i hope you like what you saw here.

Nice...and so true, why cant the enemies see the green lights XD. I really like the dark feeling about the picture and the rain only adds to the beauty.

The enemies cant see the lights because real NV goggles don't glow, it would be a tactical disadvantage. The programmers just put the lights on because it looks badass.

Actually they made them glow so you'd be able to see where you were in complete darkness when you didn't have your goggles on.

Oh, and the goggles are only glowing for the player. If you look in a mirror in the game-world they appear all dull and dark, like the rest of him. Same deal with the rendered scenes.
