I love the forest scenery you do- every detail, like the flowers and the moss, really make the picture come together beautifully. I also like the way you paint bark. The owl is very cute too. In all, fantastic work. :3

Superb richness. I agree with fagashlil about the dandelion clocks -- they're my favourite detail too. I wouldn't know how to begin painting them, but you've captured them perfectly.

Thanks..It was just a mess about with paint to start with..the two branchs that cross was what I started with then I got bored and left it for a while..then eventualy a friend suggested I put an animal in the piece..so it became a full blown painting after that..

It's funny when you come back to something much later it - goes off in an entirely different direction. I've smashed some scuplts and restarted when that's happened. But now I leave them and come back to it later and have been more successful. You do that a lot?

I do that quite often..paint something get bored of it and leave a few months before going back to it..
gives me an excuse to start something else..

Now seeing the pictyre as a whole I can really appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this piece, al those little details on the bark, the owl itself, the flowers... this is an amazing piece. Really beautiful

It's really turned out well. The dandilion clocks are still one of my favourite parts of the painting. Great details, I've just spotted the berries in the top left corner
