Description
Just started a sketch last night while a painting is drying....as you can see its another cat...Gone a bit cat mad lately..I added a bit of digital paint to show the highlights...but when I come to finish this it will be oil paint....

What a gorgeous creature. This does seem to be turning into a series. I'm itching to fav your tiger painting, and now I've got to wait for this drawing too! A wonderful drawing.

Thanks...Like I was saying to Jana I have quite a few wildlife pieces in the works....I tend to go through phases where I stick to the same subject until I get bored and then move on to the next...thats probably why I have so many unfinished pieces....but the tiger piece is almost there and I'll probably submit this week...

i think its cute... but yeah I agree, looks miffed about something... but I've always wanted to have a big cat as a pet... much better than a guard dog, and lots of lovely fur to cuddle

Yes snow leopards are the best...and I prefer them in their natural habitat than behind bars...
This picture will have to get in the queue with the other paintings....so I dont know when I'll finish it....

Gorgeous animal. Are you starting up a cat series, or did this just happen to pop into your head? Can't wait to see the tiger completed. This one will look great too, I'm sure.

Thanks..I have another cat piece on the way..then an elephant and I'm realy itching to do a horse piece but I can't find a decent enough image..but nevermind I'll just keep looking..

Yes quite a few animal pieces on the go...then after Christmas I'll do some human portraits....Thinking of doing the dreaded self portrait which will be interesting....

Do you go to a lot of shows....I have a friend who's sister does a few horse shows...but I never get chance to go myself..Should ask her to get some photos next time..

I am REALLY looking forward to your self-portrait.
I don't go to a lot of horse shows. Would like to, but even this one I came up on accidentally. They just happen to put these together during every other summer weekend, just down the hill from where I live. I feel awkward going down there and taking photos of strangers' horses, so I've only done it this once.

Yes it will be quite wierd to do....I'm thinking of a fictional scene,a bit similar to my Demon skull piece...which is from the same story I've been thinking of...He'll be kind of like a priest/cardinal type character holding some sort of sceptre..probably a man of authority...
I see horse's prety much everyday on the way to work and theres one or two riding schools that I drive past...just need to find the time to stop and take a few photos...but over here the weathers always a problem...usually its raining or the sun's disapeared behind the clouds...

Yeah, I live in a place where a lot of people own horses. I usually see them riding by on the way to work. Sorry to hear about the weather over there. I'm sure I'd be glad to trade you. It's sunny here 80% of the year.

Your lucky over there...This morning was the coldest day yet this year....Just thankfull that I have winter gear stored in the car....just in case....
