A decade ago Camila was playing about with Luz in the park when they came across the portal after Eda gone through it and Camila chases Luz into it after the curious toddler goes through with Eda not even noticing.

The two are stuck in the Boiling Isles and Camila does her best to keep Luz safe as she ends up discovering the Glyphs that she uses to protect and teaches Luz ones as they learn more about it.

Camila for money ends up setting up her own vet business and the Emperor’s Coven impressed by this wayward human licenses her as part of the Beast Keeping Coven. Luz becomes famous as the daughter of the human Beast Keeper as she goes to Hexside and had a happier school life than if she was at human school.

She may end up meeting her friends from the show and will still find a way to charm a certain Amity Blight…
