“ don’t you get it? I need you… and I don’t mean it in the typical cliché romantic novel way… no…it’s so much deeper then you could ever know. Simon look at me” her voice came out a bit soft and horse as she pleaded for his attention.He finally looked up at her but his eyes were clearly troubled
“ My life…before you was…a mess.” she breathed slowly trying to calm her nerves, hearing the tremble of her voice as she spoke. “ …I had more then just anger issues. It was far deeper then that…as I look back at it as an adult. I’m starting to put the pieces together…the trust issues…masked in shame…I always feared someone was out to get me…but I guess with my past its understandable. “ she watched him for a moment trying so desperately to tell him all she wanted to tell him. “ Simon, I’ve never known what it was like to feel cherished or protected before you… I need you because you make me whole…and keep me sane…” she stopped to breath as she stare down trying so hard to fight back tears as the memories were too painful to relive,
but she had to tell him…she couldn’t keep it in any longer
He studied her “What’s…going on? What's really wrong?”
“ …I..I…I’m scared… going out of my mind, I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. “ she healed her breath and closed her eyes feeling her body quiver at the thoughts of long ago. “ when…when I was six years old I was sexually molested….” she breathed out as she felt her whole body quake
He furrowed his eye brows “What…?”
“In New York…before Ms. Miller adopted us. We were homeless for some time. after awhile. There was this young woman, that we met in a shelter…she needed benefits and housing and we needed a guardian. So…threw social services the four of us moved into low income housing and…well the girl was only 18, and was an exotic dancer. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Me , Jeanette and Eleanor got the bedroom while the woman… Olivia…slept on the couch. And well…sometimes…sometimes she would bring home clients from the bar. We were always instructed to stay in our rooms and keep the door locked when she did so. And she meant it. She told us…”
Brittany stopped and turned away from him not being able to show her face any longer. “ …she told us, that even if we had to use the bathroom not to come out of the room…well…one night I just couldn’t hold it. I had to go to the bathroom. And…” she stopped clearly choked up. She took a few brisk breaths, feeling her heart pounding out of her chest. “…when I came out there was this man standing outside the bathroom…Olivia was passed out on the couch and I guess she thought he was sleep. ..he…he took me in the bathroom with him. Covered my mouth and told me, if I told anyone he would do the same thing to my sisters and kill Olivia…”
she started crying. “ …I couldn’t let that happen…I don’t’ know how long we were in their but feeling him force himself in me repeatedly…felt like I was in hell. I can still see my own blood dripping from between my legs each time he pulled me down on his lap…I cried silently as he covered my mouth, I didn’t want anyone to find us in there…” she couldn’t take it any longer and just broke down, covering her face from the shame
Simon wasted no time going over and embracing her, holding her tightly. He had no idea things were so bad for her, what she went through. “I’m sorry Britt….”
She trembled in his embrace as she wept unable to speak. She was so humiliated. No one knew about this, and she tried so hard to forget. “Don’t…touch me…” whispered out. She felt filthy.
He shook his head as he rubbed her back “…It’s ok…”
She shook her head as she covered her face and cried. “I…wanna forget…but I can’t…” she then turned around, and buried her face in his chest. “ make it stop…make it go away like you did before daddy…please…” she wept hysterically.
He nodded “I will…” he had to comfort her somehow. “I’m sorry…”
She took deep breaths trying desperately to control herself. She clutched at his shirt and looked up at him with tears in her eyes. “love me Simon…love me…”

This picture is really good and the story going along with it is also very emotional! I am going to give a critique-type comment on this, since I don't want to bore you by saying, "Great!" and just leave it at that. I'll take the time to give you my opinion on this picture.
First of all, the background is nice. It doesn't blend in with any of the characters and is obviously a real picture of a room, which is really unique, even though most people draw their own backgrounds. Seriously, that is a unique way to add a background to your art.
Next, Simon. Are his eyes really black? I'm not completely sure. But it's a nice way to draw him in this picture. His face looks part-chipmunk part-human, like in the cartoon, but more mature. His glasses have changed from the old, huge round ones to new, thinner ones. That's good. Your way of drawing hair is also amazing. The shine adds a...how do you say it...realistic touch? That's the word. His clothing is all Simon-like and his expression is just like in the story.
Now, Brittany. Looks like Little Miss Show-Off has finally matured into a beautiful, young woman. I do like Brittany, though. I just hate how she used to treat everyone. Especially her sisters. You drew her so well, you know. From her realistic, shiny hair to her golden bracelets and necklace to the clothing. And the tears make it better, too. And her eyes...they're mesmerizing. You are a very talented artist, and Brittany looks simply fabulous in this.
The overall picture is fantastic. The emotion and everything. And I'm glad you chose Simon to be the male instead of Alvin or Theodore. Well, I know you wouldn't do Alvin because I know you probably prefer him with Eleanor, but still. Theodore or Alvin wouldn't be comfortable talking about this with Brittany, because Theodore would be too emotional to even help and Alvin probably isn't good with this stuff. If I had to give the picture a rating, I'd say a 5/5.
Lastly, the story. It is very emotional, but there are some spelling and grammar mistakes. I know the story doesn't matter much, but without the story we all wouldn't know why Brittany's crying and why Simon's reaching out to her like that. For example, most of the time the sentence didn't start with a capital, but that can easily be fixed. And I think you meant "through" and not "threw" at one point. But that's okay; everyone makes mistakes. The story rating would be about a 4/5 or 4.5/5.
Please, make another like this. It was very emotional and beautiful and deserves an award (

thank you! and wow that was the best comment i have ever gotten. im speechless. this by far is not one of my favorite pictures to be sure. i was going threw a creative block and still am at the time but i thank you kindly for your well thought out comments.
as for simon's eyes yes in the last season of the 80s cartoon and the start of the 80s cartoon his eyes really were that black/dark. i used that design to base my designs off them because it was the last time they were seen in that form if you dont count the strait to video movies and even then i think one movie had them with dark eyes while another had them with blue.
they seemed to go back and forth with there eye color for some reason. and i just enjoy the dark eyes better. i mean if they are going to be that brown i just feel the darker eye color gives them a more ethnic look in a way if being a anthro chipmunk was a race that is. and in my universe it is.

I've seen the cartoon on Teletoon Retro (I'm not sure it's in the US but it's in Canada where I live) but I've never taken the time to notice the Chipmunks' eye colours. I mean, I know that Alvin's eyes were blue at one point and Theodore's were...well, I don't know about his. But thanks for the information.
Yes, I like dark eyes on them much better. Like Eleanor, for example, looks much better with dark brown eyes than a lighter shade. And yeah, a much more ethnic look.
