Description
So I took the bird dragon sketch from my last lols dump and made a ...sea creature out of it. XD It's still pretty rough, though I think it would just end up rotting in my folders (like so many unfinished drawings) if I don't post it now. So here it is!It's also sort of a re-imagined version a drawing I did in acrylic on canvas a few years ago and which definitely looks worse (although it's funny how all of my acrylic pictures end up really dark and gloomy while my digital art is mostly happy and colourful XD).

Actually I like the roughness - it creates a good atmosphere! The design of the dragon creature is very nice (I agree with the person who said that it looks like a pissed off iguana), and the lighting is strikingly beautiful.

I think the main reason between my acrylic and digital paintings is that... in real media, I feel like I don't want to leave any part of the canvas white. XDDD SO I PAINT THE BACKGROUND DARK BY DEFAULT *is weird*

Actually, it wasn't even my materials. XDDD I only painted in acrylics on canvas when I was at this... country club vacation hotel thing. @_@ They had all kinds of activities like different sports and an arts room. (lol so random) I wouldn't use acrylics often, so I'm too lazy to get all the materials XDD they'd just take up space and cost too much.

God, I know what THAT'S like! Must be why I never got into painting. It's worse with oils. I think that's why people want so much for their oil painting!

HOLY CRAP!!!! $2 for a damned pencil? It better be the size of a SCREWDRIVER for $2! Was it imported? Made from extinct Brazilian hardwoods from the rain-forest? I haven't used a pencil in ten years.
I wish I had some boxes of Pencils from when I went to school! They'd worth HUNDREDS of dollars!
