I dont remember did I comment on this one or not... if I did.. and am now doing it again... old head of mine...

As allways I like the detail on the face, If I look at some of your latest work, you have start paying the same atention to hair and other parts as well you are getting better and better. The only thing maybe,,, is her hand. Not sure...maybe its because it seems wee git too big/long for her (the palm should be as long as the face or wee bit shorter)

I love how've made the beautiful background texture look so soft and feminine - like lace, and the contrast it offers with the blood. It's strange too how Bella looks kind of gentle and sweet and yet she's thisting for blood. It's an astonishing mixture of sweet and fierce... a great idea to represent new born Bella. The only thing (if I may make a comment) is that I think you should have made her hair maybe a bit darker? It would have made her pale face stand out even more.
It's a lovely and very interesting picture.

thank you so much sweety.
I´m not really happy with this drawing, but I had one of those "I need to draw something" moments and this is what came to my mind.
I always loved those type of vampires like Jane. Sweet and innocent looking, making you want to come closer, but then they will show you their dark evil side. BUAHAHAHAH
Advice is always welcome I need to improve a lot, so i love constructive criticism. Yeah, I think so. It´s a little too light. ^^U
Thank you sooo much!

hahahha they are great. My muse is a lazy ass, so I enjoy when she wants to work even if the drawing ends looking like shit. lol

Same here ! Last week i had one of these moments and the drawing turned out a real pice of sh... I hope no one ever, ever sees it.. ugh, it was ugly. I never understand why sometimes things turn out so wrong!!

lol, I understand the feeling. I have a lot of drawings hide under tons of paper in my bedroom. Anyway, as an artist who I admire told me once "we wouldn´t be artists if we liked our own works. The day you like them you will not work hard anymore" so... I´m sure some of those "piece of shit" are awesome!

No, they're not awesome at all , but the artist you admire is so right!! I don"t know if it's the same for you, but I'm never 100% happy. I only see the defects when something is finished!! On another hand, it's not so bad because it makes you want to improve all the time.

Yeah, it´s the same way for me. It doesn´t matter how good it can look for other people, I only see every mistake I made. I used to write long notes when I submitted my drawings telling "don´t mind this, forget that, this part sucks..." but then I realized that most of the time if you don´t say what you did wrong, people don´t realize it. lol.
You´re 100% right. To be like this make us want to become better and work harder. that´s always a good thing.

Yes! I ve noticed that in this place people are forever apologizing for the defects of their drawings... I 'm convinced that they should not, personally it annoys me. I dont want the artist to tell me what part of his work sucks or is not perfect. I want to judge for myself. Commenters will tell you what's good or wrong. An there's this other weird thing : people telling how much time they've spent on a drawing : sometimes they say tons of hours, sometimes they say "oh, I did this amazing stuff in just 5 mn" (sounding all smug and self-satisfied) ?? But why? Who needs to know that?? This is not a speed race...

LeeMinKyo In reply to LittleSeaSparrow [2010-10-13 09:38:44 +0000 UTC]

hahahha then you should hate me... I whinned a lot about what parts sucked (not anymore, simply funny random comments about mistakes) and I put the time I spent of it. I never got it, but tons of people do it and people asked me every now and then how long it took me to draw/manipulate this or that, so I decided to add that info even if I don´t understand why they want to know it. Sometimes I feel like "yeah, I did this on 30 mins so maybe that´s why it looks so crappy! >_< so what?? leave me alone!" lol.
There are a lot of typical-DA things...

LittleSeaSparrow In reply to LeeMinKyo [2010-10-13 09:51:15 +0000 UTC]

OK, I had not thought of that... maybe people need to know how much time it takes to do some work, particularly photomanips, just to have some technical info! I think it's typical of dA, but I was really surprised at first. And funny comments about your mistakes are OK, I've always thought it's OK to laugh at oneself!
