Yes, they are at least making one for the Mortal Instruments in general, I'm not sure if they plan on splitting them into individual books/movies? I would assume yes - if they do well. The only people who have been cast so far are Jace and Clary - Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins.

I like Lily, but I'm not going to lie, I still don't like Jamie. At all. I really hope that when they cast some of the other characters they're ones that actually fit their part.

I've honestly pretty much stopped caring at this point, but once they finally cast someone else I might get interested again, who knows.
And it is taking forever, they shouldn't have even told us they'd cast anyone yet if they were going to take this long...they're just being mean and torturing us!

Definitely ridiculous, at this rate, they won't even start filming for another year or so. Especially since they're already going to have to delay filming because of Lily's schedule for one of the new Snow White movies coming out.
