Here's the tutorial on faces and hair

I'm down with the flu and I've just been consuming vitamins all day while drinking juice in hopes of beating it >.<

However, this was so much fun to draw and make! Faces and hair are probably my absolute favourite parts to draw and most of the time, I find myself doodling eyes when I'm bored. I used to only be able to draw one style of eyes when I first started drawing. But after practicing and practicing and also observing other artworks; be it through anime or manga or portraits through photography, I've managed to build up a repertoire of styles and looks to pull from via memory. I think it's fine learning and sketching from a reference the kind of look you would like to draw when you're starting, it's only once you get the hang of it that you would be able to stylise and create/tweak it into your own unique way of drawing. Just draw the way you feel most comfortable with and it'll mould itself in time.

Another useful tip I can suggest is to do some life drawing of faces, try drawing from a photograph as practice. I believe this serves as a good base for learning about face structures or even just hairstyles in general. Once you know how it works, it's easy to translate it into different styles of drawing.
