I visited the Rungus longhouse at 2011 and fell in love with the people and their culture...

I will draw more of the Rungus next time, as well as other ethnic in Sabah. I'll take this as part of a new art adventure, part personal academic research and part to understand better the culture in Sabah. I may be born and raised in the land below the wind, I may belong to a native bloodline, but God knows it had been a hard struggle for everyone here to keep in touch with their identity and keeping it in harmony with modernity.
