Dominoclaw had a lot in his life he regrets. Though the biggest thing he regrets is killing his father. He hid it for a long time but he let the anger get the better of him.
And with that one action. He ruined his life. He ruined his mate's life. His kits.
Because of that one mistake he had to leave his clan, and his friends. He didn't want to. But that was the cause of his actions. And he must live with that.
His scar is a reminder of his faults.
He did hate his father. Though he should have been the better cat and learned to live and move past it, since he had a mate and family that loved him.
The thorns represent the constraints of his actions that always and forever on his mind.
