Hello!

Today, I got this notification, which was the only thing that made me notice that I am on dA for a year already!

Well, over the last 12 months, I've received art, traded, and joined many contests - which was so much fun and a great experience! So I'd love to share with you all the wonderful work some of you have done for me since the first day I joined dA!

So without further ado:

Their pieces

Emilie, Adam, and the Forest - TradeThe day was hot, and Emilie was enjoying it.
She was out at the line between her family’s farm and the forest, picking wild onions and carrots. Her large rabbit ears provided shade from the sun, and her muslin dress was the perfect thickness to keep her cool. Sun warmed her ears and face, shining on her hair in such a way it looked like shimmering, red ribbon you’d tie a present with. The ground was speckled with the shade from the tree leaves.
Emilie hopped from one sunny part to another, doing her best to keep within the lines and not touch the shade. The grass crunched under her feet, straw like strands making her slip and slide here and there, nearly falling out of the sunspots.
She continued like this, teetering in spots of sun among the wiggly shade cast by skinny birch branches mixed with maple and the occasional fat oak, picking her onions and carrots and dropping them in the wicker basket she held on her arm. She wondered if you could make a basket out of vegetable
