This works well, the linear perspective and the repetition of the round shapes

a good concept and some
lovely contrasts. Really nicely done.
The only thing that could be improved
in this shot, is the position of the man.
If he would have taken one step forward
it would have been even better. then you
would have had two vertical outline closer together,one from the man and one from the sign.
But since you don't pick where people are standing, this is as good as it can get. Maybe the contrast may be lowered a little even, to make it slighty softer, adding to the concept.
That's my opinion on this shot

Each of us has his own point of view and we are here mostly to share them...
Actually, I gave my attention to the man on the background rather than to the one on the foreground. I know it can sound a little weird, but he was in a so expressive position in my opinion
I didn't care much about the first man, I just waited for him not to cover the second one...
I'm rarely used to think about the shot, most of the time I just shoot as fast as I can...
Anyway, maybe you're right about the contrast, but I simply don't like soft tones much... I'm a sharpness addicted
