There was a steady flow of Mega Man games up to number 8. The only break years were 1989 and 1994. Even then, 1994 wasn't a break year, seeing as we got the hidden gem Mega Man World 5, which, despite being on the Game Boy, counts as canon, seeing as the special robots on the Game Boy were included in the CD data for Mega Man and Bass!

Anyway, now that that's out of the way, at least the realistic-looking boxart isn't there anymore, though Spark Man kinda looks a bit more grey than his in-game appearance.

How fitting that the two most lewdly-named Robot Masters (at least according to one Jim Caddick) are depicted with hair here. They looked really weird and bald in my style without it, so there it is. Also, why is Hard Man shorter than anyone else!? He's supposed to be like 7 feet tall!

You can blame Snake Man's gangliness on him being more suitable for sneaking around.

Top Man always gets kind of dizzy, due to his love for spinning around and whatnot. He can never tell where he's going, since his world's always spinning around him.

Also, can I mention this poorly-drawn Chibi of that hybrid guy who appears in the corner stages after you clear every Robot Master in that game?

Also, eyeshadow again!? Spark Man, yes, because he's trying to be fabulous like Elec Man, but Needle Man!? What's his deal? He's just a big metal triangle with spikes on top!
