Chain was first seen (unnamed) in La Gata's first appearance.

It gained its name because of its highly addictive nature, and its ability to "chain" users immediately to a life of addiction, often after a single use.
Extra Note:
It has been suspected (although unconfirmed) that in some rare cases, Chain use has caused the spontaneous development of superhuman abilities.
