ok... here it is... 3 hours of prisma marker magic... it didn't turn out as great as i had hoped... i wish ever so much that i had a computer sketch pad... whining aside however this was as always a great learning experience... this is my first successful attempt at clouds! there not the happy poofy one you guys expect... these are low sad clouds. also, im pissed at my color choices on the mech... if i had only colored his backpack cool grey 20% it would even out... but nooooooo i had to go for the 40%... curses upon myself. the grass green was dying on me and too bright anyway so i warm grey 30%ed it if thats a word... 30%ed... hmm... anyway. the tracers sucked so i used my prehistoric self taught mad photoshop skilZ to brighten those up... and even with my best of level/contrast/color correction it still doesn't look like what im holding in my hand... stupid scanner... curses curses curses... AND WHATS WITH THE YELLOW FLOWER GROWING FROM THE MINIGUN? its not a minigun of happiness, its a minigun "o" death... bah humbug.Related content

You're so hard on yourself! I personally couldn't do that well with markers, and I don't think a lot of people could. Clouds especially, are really hard to color. Stop thinking so much about making pictures that look nice, current;y. Just remember each time you do a picture that looks less than perfect by your standards, you're only going to get better. You have great skill, especially for your age, and you should be very very proud.

its kinda depressing... even anubis has errors that im hating... i love all my art so much when i complete it, but give me enough time and i hate it. its what drives me to do better i think. perfectionism sucks with art

sorry to break it to you, but duo is not a gundam, he is a pilot. he pilots deathscythe, so yes, the best gundam and pilot are together in gundam wing. but as far as realism goes, 08 ms team is supreme. the gundams aren't over the top, there believable... everything about it rocks. from the ground sonar to the sniper cooling... and the story and animation is top notch... simply the best gundam imo

i think this turned out great 
i think the grey you chose was fine. infact i dotn see any real probs with it but i reckon theres something about the green at the bottom which dont quite fit but hey its just nit picking really.
for the record i think you did a great job on the sky,when you are not using a computer sky's are VERY hard to pull of correctly and i think you did a great job.

sure you can work on it! regardless of your take i would love to see it! do you want the 150dpi version of it? anyway, the colors piss me off. with markers, if you let it dry and come back around, the colors don't mix at all. thats why i had to do the sky in chunks basically... without coloring over the tracers, i couldn't color it fast enough. im going to go over it some more, try at better color correction and brighten up the tracers a bunch to bring them out. but man am i pissed... if i had only colored his backpack cool grey 10%

I think its a great picture, good cooring for the most part he only problem I see with the picture is the sky, I would have made it a bit darker for the picture, the brightness compared to everything else trys to steal the attention, but it might be darker in the real.
