Description
This is what I have been working on for two years since the summer of 2011. It features early sprites of Mario and Marina.

Princess Marina is the daughter of the Sea Side Mushroom King from Super Mario Bros. 3 World 3. For a long time, she has a crush on Mario, who saved her father and the kingdom from Wendy O. Koopa. Of course, the legendary hero is oblivious of the princess romantic feelings. They will meet in Sea Side Adventure and become close friends, or perhaps even closer.

I planned to make any kind of sprites for the duo (fighting, romantic, etc.). Currently, this is what I had done a long time ago. There will be more of them.

As far as everyone know, Mario and Princess Marina often hang out together, but at the same time challenge each other. But in the series, the two of them will become quite close... Until, they would be separated as Mario must keep on venturing on Sea Side to defeat Wart and Bowser.
