This image is depicts the main characters of the upcoming Mario games. It's confirmed the same Nintendo EAD Tokyo developers who worked on Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 3D Land will make an upcoming Super Mario game for the Wii U. There will also be a new installment of the Mario Kart series for the Wii U as well.

Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon for the 3DS is set to be released on March 2013, it will feature mutiple mansions and multiplayer mode is finally available. A WarioWare game is currently in the works, known as Game & Wario for the Wii U. After 7 years since Yoshi's Island DS, a new Yoshi game is finally revealed on January 2013, known as Yarn Yoshi (tentative title). It looks similar to that of Yoshi's Story and Kirby's Epic Yarn. The untitled Super Smash Bros title for the Wii U and 3DS and the other upcoming Mario game trailers are set to be revealed on E3 2013 on the summer.

Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, the sequel to Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, the follow-up of Bowser's Inside Story, Mario Golf: World Tour, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move have been announced for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U (except Mario Kart Arcade GP DX).
