From a young age, Malcom Bard always had a deep fascination and love for reptiles, leading him to rehabilitate and care for various different species. This connection was, unbeknownst to him, to an entity known as the Tree Of Life. The source of life energy for each kingdom of creatures. In Malcom’s case, the reptile branch, allowing him to take on the physical properties of all reptiles that currently do, and have ever existed on earth. Including; bone plating, venom glands, acute senses, regeneration, etc. However, he can not regulate his body temperature while transformed, and as such is vulnerable to cold. He can possess many attributes at once, and under dire circumstances can “hyperevolve” into a sort of mega reptile, becoming completely feral in the process.
